IT and Cybersecurity is more than just a business for us, it's a calling.
Our team at Rocket Tech Support is made up of passionate individuals who share a common goal: To protect the public from cybercrime, cyber warfare, and the harm inflicted by everyday PC issues. It all started with our founders, Jamie Spisak, and Roderick Marcial, who witnessed firsthand the need for better computer maintenance and support resources for working professionals and the general public.
Jamie and Roderick met almost a decade ago as colleagues in a Florida tech support helpdesk and continued to work together for years on several different projects. Their experiences in help desks and corporate IT departments revealed a big gap of inequality. While large corporations could afford to invest in digital security, general computer users and even smaller businesses without IT budgets were left to fend for themselves with little expert knowledge of technology. Causing fewer options for proactivity in protecting themselves, their work, families, and digital lives. They realized that this left people vulnerable to cyber threats that cumulatively cost the U.S. hundreds of billions in annual damages. Furthermore, the hackers and cyberwar actors who compromise their computers can abuse their personal computers in large numbers to launch sophisticated attacks on businesses and governments, all while hiding behind the masks of innocent working-class people's computers.
After spending time studying Cybercrime/warfare, under America's top strategists at Arizona State University's Center for the Future of War, Jamie and his cofounder Roderick built a robust core technology to improve repair processes and set out to build a team of passionate leaders. Their dedication and discipline in building quality tech, paired with expert technician knowledge make these services more accessible to the public at affordable prices.
Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, including Cybersecurity consulting, Helpdesk call centers, corporate IT and cyber teams. As well as marketing, process improvement, and software engineering. However, what unites us is our shared mission to protect the public and provide ongoing security to our customers.
At Rocket Tech Support, we're not just providing computer support or removing viruses or installing printers - although we do all of that too; we're part of a larger vision to protect the public from cyber threats. This bridges the gaps in our national security created by lack of access to PC support, and we're proud to be a leading team against cybercrime/warfare. We care about efficiency for large coporations, as well as security for all of us that spend our lives working on the front lines of an increasingly dangerous environment of cyber threats.
